This Barbie Prom Princess Necklace was made by, Tarina Tarantino. A jewelry designer in Los Angeles, California. Tarina Tarantino is known for "hair jewelry," as well as her use of bright colors and funky designs.

After working as a model and makeup artist during the early half of the 1990s, she decided to make her jewelry hobby full time. She and Alfonso Campos opened the self-entitled business Tarina Tarantino in 1995. Her collections have since caught the eye of a number of celebrities such as Cameron Diaz, Avril Lavigne, and Miley Cyrus.
