Ok, maybe "guarding them with our lives" is a bit of a stretch. But, then again. Maybe it shouldn't be. For if nothing else, a scrapbook is a list! A documentation of all our accomplishments, our travels, our loves, and in deed our very lives. And once that documentation is gone, "what left?", but memories and fairy tales.

I have a Lot of scrapbooks. Eeeh unfortunately, most are but Plain Jane, Fake gold embroidered, Blue Light Specials bought at K-mart. (anybody remember K-mart and their Blue Light Specials?)

Katrina Kaif now joins the ranks of Hollywood divas like Beyonce Knowles, Elizabeth Taylor and Diana Ross, who have Barbie dolls based on their looks.

It was suppose to be Aishwarya Rai, who's face was to adorn the New Indian Barbie doll. But due to "prior commitments", Aishwarya Rai Turned Down the honor to have her face on the New Indian Barbie doll.

The offer then went to Katrina Kaif who stated;

"It is so much fun to endorse a Barbie doll. Almost every girl has grown up playing with the doll and so have I, so it feels great. My sisters would be really happy to know that I am endorsing this brand."

"Mattel made two Barbie & Ken - Agent Mulder & Agent Scully Giftsets - #1 is also called the "recalled" set as this Barbie has a longer face and longer hair. But I found this listing while I was out Barbie shopping and when I saw a seller advertising a price of $40 for 30 Vintage Barbie dolls, and then still say that they will "work with" the buyer on the price... Hey, I'm not passing that up. So here it is;

But there is another who appreciates our gal in Spain even more than she knew. She writes;

Yesterday my BF decided we were going for a drive up to the capital city Las Palmas. He said we were going somewhere as a surprise and would not give me any clues at all which was frustrating.

On arriving I was feeling really hungry (always am) so he was like "ok let's stop at this mall to get a sandwich, the place we're going isn't far away". Still wondering where we were going as I stepped onto the escalators into the mall, I looked up and saw this big Barbie sign:

Barbies4Sale has found a Barbie Talking Townhouse for sale on craigslist. And from the seller's description and price, it sounds like a pretty good deal.


Seller's Description:

One used Barbie Talking Townhouse for sale.
Good condition. Electronic sounds/ voices work.
No dolls included.

Here is a description I found online:
"It's home sweet home for Barbie in her Talking Townhouse. Everywhere Barbie goes in the house, girls can hear the lovely sounds of home. When Barbie puts her access card in the front door slot, the house welcomes Barbie home, and the front porch light comes on. Girls can hear Barbie respond with a random phrase, such as, "It's great to be home." When Barbie steps in the shower, the sounds of water are activated, and the house asks Barbie about the temperature. When Barbie puts her access card in the microwave, cooking sounds are activated, and the house converses with her while she cooks".

Amazingly these are selling new for as much as $449.00 which I find to be quite outrageous but it's apparently discontinued and must be in high demand. We are asking only $40 or best offer for it.
