Toy Barbie Fishing Pole, Catches State Record Catfish!
It was a Christmas present. A Cute, Tiny little, "Pink", Mattel Barbie fishing pole. A "Toy"! Given to her, by her father.
So cute little 3-year-old Alyssa Hayes, took her cute little "Pink" Barbie fishing pole, and went fishing with her grandfather David Hayes of Wilkes County North Carolina, when Suddenly... she had to go to the bathroom.
Oh, if only she could have held that urge but for another moment. For just seconds after handing the Pink Barbie fishing pole to her grandfather, the Catfish Struck!
A battle ensued lasting for 25 minutes. But as the battle waged on, the cute, Tiny little, "Pink" Barbie fishing pole, held true.
The catfish, a Real Whopper! Measured 32 inches long, and weighed in at 21 pounds 1 ounce. A New, North Carolina State Record Catfish.
Bigger than the old record,
Bigger than the cute, tiny little "Pink" Barbie fishing pole.
And darn near bigger than cute little 3-year-old Alyssa.
The new North Carolina State Record Catfish will be mounted right along side of the cute, tiny little, "Pink" Barbie fishing pole.
